Work night out... It went bad... Help please?

yes, one time all the staff at my work went out for a drink cause it was a special occasion and my co workers got drunk and started making fools of themselves, I decided against drinking so i would not make a fool of myself. The boss ended up firing the people who got drunk and make themselves look like idiots, people say it was a test.....
