Baby sweating alot with a long sleeve onesie on?

I went out for a errand and my baby had on a one long sleeve onesie. I took him out his seat to find that his whole backside was soaked. I dont' know why he sweating that bad. hes not even bundles up all that snug so its not from overheating. HAs anyone else experience this? Any advice?
