Coworker infatuated with me?

The other night I went out with some friends and ran into a co-worker at one of the bars. We were both lightly intoxicated and were talking when he told me that he was "infatuated with" me. He continued to say that when he sees me at work it makes his day along with other statements along those lines. I understand what infatuated means, but no one has ever told me this before. Also, with the fact that he was under the influence of alcohol, did he really mean it or was he just trying to get me to sleep with him? So pretty much, is this a good or bad thing? We do talk outside of the work, but usually I start the conversation, I guess you could say he is a bit on the quiet side. Thanks
