I plan to freed......what do you think about using dummies/pacifiers?

Giving a baby a dummy during the first few weeks of feeding can cause nipple confusion. All the things I've read say it's okay to start giving dummies and bottles once feeding has been established. Which is usually when the baby is about 3 weeks old. I researched this a lot last week as the same topic came up and I was curious about it too, cause i'm all for dummies, but do plan to feed and don't want to cause the confusion.
