What is the differance between a crocodile and an alligator?

crocs are generally more aggressive than gators, crocs have a pointier snout and when their mouth is closed you can see the crocs teeth poking out the side of their mouth. Some crocs live in saltwater, all gators live in freshwater...the folks above that say crocs have a rounded snout and gators are pointed have it backwards..lol
