Is sterling silver more preferred or fake jewellery ?

Hi.. I am a jewellery designer. I make Pure silver jewellery. In My next collection I want to use swarvoski crystals and sterling silver. I would like to know whether i should use sterling silver or an alloy cheaper than silver to make it cost effective. which will be preferred market.
