Can you really not be attracted to your own "race" anymore?

im multiracial and i had dated ----- guys since i have always been attracted to that part of my culture and my mom always said be more open to dating but the other guys of other ethnicities were always so shy but to make a long story short i was abused badly by one of the ----- guys i was with (he wasnt a thug, just to make that clear he was the total opposite and was just a bad guy) and the other ones i dated were no good..i didn't think it was possible but since i went through so much it turned me off from them..like i still can say oh that ----- celebrity is fine but seeing them in public trying to date me i just don't have much anticipation and i don't want to be like this! but it is happening because of my experiences unfortunately...i didn' t think this could happen.
